For sale is this stunning Zenith El Primero Chronomaster XXT Grande Date watch. This is the Open Work model of the El Primero where some of the movement is displayed for viewing pleasure along with the date complication. This model retails for $11,900.
If you’ve yet to have the pleasure of trying one on, it sits very comfortably on the wrist for having a broad case and lug architecture. It doesn’t necessarily wear like a 45mm watch on the leather strap or the bracelet, but does have some weight when worn with the bracelet. At 15mm case width, this timepiece will not fit under certain dress cuff links. Meant to be shown-off and displayed for compliments, the watch sits atop an elevated bezel stack like a diamond set on an engagement ring.
This timepiece is in excellent condition 9 out of 10. It was kept in rotation among other high-end luxury timepieces, and cared for dearly. Can even have this professionally polished to like new before being shipped if you like even though it really doesn’t need it. There are minor tool markings on the back of the lugs from changing the strap which can be seen in the pictures and easily polished out. The leather strap is aged from daily wear. The deployment buckle for the strap is excellent and doesn’t need any polish.
The package comes with the outer Zenith box, box sleeve, Inner Wood Zenith box, after market watch pillow, Zenith OEM leather strap with the Zenith deployment buckle, OEM Zenith Stainless Steel bracelet ($1K + value), instruction booklet, warranty card stamped and dated 2009.
